Our Story & Mission

Alpha USA Training began with a simple idea: everyone deserves clear, friendly guidance on their journey to better health and longevity. Our mission is to help you move, eat, and live in ways that keep you strong today — and in the years ahead.

Curt Granger, CPT
Curt Granger is an NCCPT, ISSA-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, specializing in strength training and weight management.

After years of struggling with weight changes, sedentary habits, and poor diet choices, I decided enough was enough, and I wasn’t going to “age gracefully,” relying on doctors to manage the inevitable decline of my health. At 58 years of age, I got serious about my health, and embarked on my current journey. By utilizing what I already knew about exercise, diet, and nutrition, I began working out regularly. I started a low carb (keto) diet, focused on eliminating sugar, refined carbohydrates, and ultra processed foods. In a year’s time, I dropped 43 pounds. That’s when I realized there is a great need for helping people help themselves to become healthier, and live longer, enriched lives. I enrolled with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), and earned certifications in personal training, nutrition, weight management, and strength and conditioning. I started training my wife Jayne, who had already begun the journey of better health and fitness with me, and I am proud that she is my first success story!

I understand the human mind is very powerful, and capable of great things. As sure as we can convince ourselves that bad habits are ok in “moderation,” we can also train our minds to become disciplined in everything we do, and break bad habits that cause our health to suffer. My journey focuses on a holistic-centered approach to fitness, nutrition, and longevity, and is the core of my fitness and wellness philosophy.
